About Steamers of Naples

Sometimes, the best gems shine without the need for prismatic glitz. That's exactly the vibe Steamers of Naples radiates on a sunlit afternoon in the heart of Naples, Florida. Tucked away at 5317 Airport-Pulling Rd, it exudes the charm of a no-frills eatery that has been delighting patrons since 1998, welcoming them with open arms and mouthwatering New England-style seafood.

As one approaches, the relaxed, family-owned feel becomes immediately apparent, and for many, that's part of the allure. It’s the kind of place that doesn't pretend to be something it’s not. Instead, it focuses on the art it has mastered over decades—serving seafood dishes that hit the spot every time. Outdoor seating is a lovely feature here, offering diners the simple pleasure of enjoying their lobster rolls and clam chowder under the open sky.

The menu is as straightforward as it is satisfying. It's full of selections ready to take your taste buds on a coastal journey straight to New England. Nothing says "East Coast classic" like starting with a bowl of their rich clam chowder, silky and full of the sea’s bounty. Move on to a mainstay favorite, the legendary lobster roll, packed with fresh, tender lobster, lightly dressed, and nestled in a warm bun. Every bite seems to echo with oceanic memories, backed by the satisfying crunch of hot buttered bread.

For those craving variety, the crisp, fried seafood platter is an indulgence hard to deny. Shrimp, scallops, and cod, kissed by the fryer, evoke a sense of nostalgia, especially when paired with homemade tartar sauce and fries fried to perfection. Steamers of Naples avoids pretentiousness and favors generous portions of simple, honest food.

Reviews often highlight the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere, a testament to the down-to-earth hospitality that matches the vibe of the food. It's said that locals and visitors alike have swiftly become regulars, returning time and time again to relive the delicious comfort that Steamers offers. The establishment’s endurance, spanning a considerable part of the past couple of decades, speaks volumes of its consistent quality and beloved charm.

Dining here is not about the fuss or frills, but rather about savoring meals that remind one of salty sea breezes and the crunch of sand underfoot. It’s an uncomplicated nook perfect for those yearning for authentic New England seafood in an atmosphere that feels like home. It's this genuine nature that makes Steamers of Naples a revered spot in the culinary landscape of the region.

What a great restaurant! A large seafood menu from lobster to clam strips. Try the hand cut onion rings and cole slaw. Not only is the food really good, the service is too! Michelle was great, friendly and fun! I'll definitely go back! You might want to go early. Steamers was packed on Wednesday evening at 5!

We have been out of state for the past 5 months, and was thrilled to stop at steamers the other day and have our lunch! We had forgotten how great the food, in service was! I had the homemade clam chowder, my husband had the potato soup and said it was the best he had ever had besides my mom's. That was definitely the correct answer. LOL I have the New England clam chowder that's homemade there and it was outstanding as usual. I also have the clam strips and my husband had the chicken planks 💓. Will be back soon for a wonderful dinner 👍

Steamers is our favorite spot for grouper and swordfish—they have great sides too, lots of options and a choice in portion size so you can be sure to get enough to feel satisfied at any time of day. My husband loves their grilled grouper and baked sweet potato; I’m all about the blackened swordfish and hush puppies! They have a ton of other fish options too, fried, grilled, seared, as a platter or sandwich, you name it! Update for 2026: We again returned to Steamers and had a fabulous, delicious time. The menu is timeless and always satisfies. Grouper, swordfish, cod—you can’t go wrong. They make an excellent tartar, and we tried the ranchero sauce this year and also loved it! Will definitely be back again for years to come!

The New England Clam Chowda was the best ever until the LobstaRoll arrived. Then they were both the G.O.A.T! We arrived early. When we left at 5, there was what looked to be a long wait for a table. Place is small, but the food was served very quickly.

Just wow! Local favorite I’ve been told and TOTALLY agree. The Pompano was cooked better than a fine dining restaurant! The onion rings out of this world! This will be my favorite place while I’m in Naples for the next 3 months! Try is it’s AWESOME! Toni is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!

My family and I love this place! Everything is prepared with care and is delicious. It has a very family like and down to earth vibe. Awesome seafood and they have the best key lime pie.

This is THE place for seafood in Naples. Value for the money, Steamers reminiscences the rustic cabins of Cape Code with florida fishing spirit. Local fish such as Snapper and Grouper are fresh and amazingly steamed as blackened. Fried Calamari is a must as an appetizer. ONLY place. I repeat ONLY place I would order mussels and still I would ask if they are fresh (they won’t lie about it) The service is superb. Waiters have been product servicing since forever and that gives the place this family small restaurant environment. It has nice outdoor seating and bathrooms are clean and neat. Nice selection of beverages. Not much selection of dessert. Key Lime Pie; a must if you are visiting FL.
